Apply to play Tonic Ball
…and support Second Helpings’ Food Rescue, Hunger Relief, and Culinary Job Training programs
Tonic Ball can’t exist without the local musicians who generously donate their time and talent to give a capacity crowd a night they’ll never forget. Each band plays two covers associated with their assigned iconic act. These 15-minute sets have a big impact. Collectively, Tonic Ball musicians help raise more than $200,000 to fight hunger and poverty in Central Indiana each year.
The Tonic Ball planning committee works hard to ensure the party is as much for performers as attendees. Something special happens when everyone comes together to play for something larger—to make sure their neighbors never miss a meal. Generosity is our secret ingredient, and it floats through the air at Tonic Ball. It seeps into the performances. It’s one of those shows you only understand if you’ve been there, and we’re all better for it.
